In 2024, we were recognized as a Rabies Center of Excellence by the Global Alliance for Rabies Control. We were shortlisted for their World Rabies Day Award in 2017 and were named the Awardee of the World Rabies Day Award in 2018 for Sub-Sahara. In 2021, our Director of Education, Francis Okello Oloya, received the Education Champion Award.
