Your donation can cover:
$25 covers full vetting for one of our dogs: spay/neuter, deworm and vaccinate
$50 covers the cost of cost of treating a dog with chemotherapy
$500 sponsors a Comfort Dog Project team for one year
If the compassionate work of The BIG FIX Uganda is important to you, including us in your will or trust is a statement that you care deeply about the animal and people of Northern Uganda.
A future gift set up in your will or trust, known as a bequest, may be indicated as a specific dollar amount, specific item, or a percentage of your assets. If you would like to plan a bequest to help future generations benefit from our work, we recommend that you consult with your legal and financial advisors to ensure that your wishes are carried out in the drafting of your will or trust.
For your convenience, we’ve provided some suggested language below that you could use in your will or trust. Please feel free to adapt this language with your attorney to fit your individual situation:
“I give to The BIG FIX, a California Public Benefit Corporation with its principal office at 830 Taylor Street, Port Townsend, WA 98368, (the sum of $_____) (all or _____% of my residual estate) to be used for its unrestricted charitable use and general purposes.”

Sponsor Lifesaving Work
There are two powerful ways to become a sponsor of our work and make a direct, lasting impact—by supporting the Comfort Dog Project, where war survivors find healing, trust, and companionship alongside their dogs, or by sponsoring our lifesaving mobile veterinary services, delivering free rabies vaccinations and critical care that save lives and protect entire communities from a deadly disease.
Whichever path you choose, you are helping save lives—both human and animal—and bringing hope where it’s needed most.
If you hold publicly traded shares and would like to support our work by donating stock, simply click the “Make A Stock Donation” button below. You’ll be taken to DonateStock.com, where you can enter the ticker symbol, number of shares, and your brokerage’s transfer‑agent details. After completing the secure transfer, you’ll receive an electronic receipt for tax‑deduction purposes.
Donating appreciated stock lets you avoid capital‑gains tax while directing the full market value of the shares to fund our veterinary hospital, the Comfort Dog Project, and the many field clinics we oversee and coordinate across remote villages in Northern Uganda.
